Session lifecycle

Where is each compute channel in its lifecycle?

Source and guide ↗
flop sessions --help

An open channel is a promise.
A settlement is a different state.

See which step is reported. Follow the evidence before treating a claim as a payout.

The observed lifecycle

Follow one channel.

Node counts describe the latest recording. The moving marker traces only the selected channel.

Latest status block: 2893845. Uses the classifier's current evidence. Intermediate steps are not inferred.

Offers: 0 observed. Offers precede opening. No public offer-to-channel link is inferred.

Explicit finalisation reported

Cooperative payouts bypass the forced claim window. A challenge-end block alone never proves finalisation. Click a state to filter its channels below.

Counts over recorded time

A sample is not the network.

These bundled recorder snapshots retain settlement samples. They do not contain channel-state snapshots. The complete crawl above is a different population. No trend or state change is inferred between runs.

Quoted transition rules

Why a channel changes state.

The line tracks reading progress, not chain progress. Quotes describe the protocol. The indexer fields establish this page's classifications.

offer → opening

Choose offer or force-open

`auto` uses a live signed spot offer for this miner and model, then falls back to `force_open` when none is available.
Read the source ↗

opening → open

Miner acknowledges

On this runtime the ack emits `ChannelOpened`, and the key is read from finalized channel storage; there is no separate `ForceAcked` event.
Read the source ↗

open → cooperative

Co-sign and settle

The current cooperative path pays private escrow immediately and issues no public work credit (R11.2b).
Read the source ↗

open → challenge-window

Post forced claim

A forced settlement posts a claim; it still needs permissionless `finalize` after its challenge window.
Read the source ↗

challenge-window → disputed

Challenge protocol fraud

Disputes cover **protocol fraud only**
Read the source ↗

challenge-window → finalized

Finalise after the window

call `expire_force_open` for expired `PendingAck`, `timeout` for an expired zero-turn `Open`, or `finalize` for a force-settled channel after its challenge window.

disputed → refunded

Fraud verdict

**MUST** default to a fraud verdict → slash via the `miner-slashing` forgery path + agent refund.

opening / open → refunded

Expiry or non-delivery timeout

Both refund the channel escrow; fees remain spent.

What this does not verify

This is an indexer lifecycle map. It does not verify chain finality, off-chain usage, inference, hardware, challenge standing or payout amounts. An indexer label is not an independent proof.

Recorded devnet data can outlive a reset. Unsupported states remain unresolved. Offers and off-chain turns cannot be traced to channels from these public fields.
